Tips for Dishwashers
  • 1Usage of detergent, salt and rinse aid

    Regular Tablet: Tablet with detergent.
    Combi Tablet (All-in-one tablet): Tablet with salt and rinse aid effect in addition to detergent. 
    * Activate the tablet detergent function when you are using Combi Tablets. (If your appliance has a tablet function.)
    Ask the technician during the installation of your appliance or read the "Preparation for Washing" section in your User Manual. 
    Perform the water hardness adjustment again and use salt, rinse aid and detergent proper for the new level if you move to another city or if the mains supply is changed.

  • 5Adding detergent

    Do not use soap, hand washing detergents, home-made detergents (e.g. lye), bleach, hydrochloric acid, descaling agent etc.

  • 7Cleaning of the filter

    Clean filters after every 5 washing operations.

  • 8Cleaning of the propeller

  • 9If the dishes are not clean after washing
    • Make sure that you place the dishes properly.
    • Clean the filters and propellers.
    • Check whether propellers are rotating freely after loading the dishes on the basket.
    • Select a program with higher temperature.
    • Use detergents produced for dishwashers. Comply with the storage instructions of detergent manufacturer.
  • 10If the dishes are wet or if there are stains on the dishes

    - Increase rinse aid level.

    - Select a program with drying function.

    - Water stains on teflon and plastics are due to the quality of the material.

    - Allow the dishes to cool for 15 minutes with the door of appliance open after washing your dishes. This will allow drying of dishes more quickly.

  • 11If there is odor in your appliance
    • A plastic smell may be apparent in first uses.
    • Do not keep soiled dishes inside the appliance for a long time.
    • Clean your filters.
    • Operate the appliance empty for a cycle at high temperature with detergent.
    • Make the drain connection as described in the user manual.
  • 12If metal items get rusty
    • Do not wash metal items that are not suitable for washing in the dishwasher.
    • Check the grounding connection.
    • Make sure that rust does not come from the water supply.
    • Mains water with salty water (well water, sea water etc.) may cause rust on the metal items and the dishwasher.
  • 13If there are detergent deposits or foam after washing
    • Do not use excessive detergent.
    • Do not use wet detergents.
    • Dry the detergent compartment while you are putting the detergent.
    • Do not use combi (all-in-one) tablet detergents in short cycles.
    • Place your dishes so that they will not prevent opening of detergent box.
    • Do not leave the cover of rinse aid compartment open.
    • Do not overflow the rinse aid when your are filling the rinse aid reservoir.
  • 14If there is water in the reservoir after washing
    • Check whether the water outlet hose is bent or not.
    • Use a program with drying stage.
  • 15If there is discoloration on the plastic items
    • Do not wash plastic items that are not suitable for washing in the dishwasher.
  • 16If there is dirt on the door of the dishwasher
    • Check the leg adjustments of the dishwasher, and level the dishwasher.
    • Do not load the baskets excessively.
    • Use a program with high temperature.
  • 17Problems with glass items

    You should request adjustment according to supply water hardness during installation. Otherwise, the washing and drying performance of your appliance will be decreased. Technicians of authorized services can perform the necessary adjustment in this context.
